(Oklahoma City, OK) - Wiggin Properties completed a 119,000 square foot lease transaction with Western Industries, Inc. for a manufacturing facility at 4249 Southwest 29th Street. Western Industries is an Oklahoma City based manufacturer of packaging materials and containers. Western is remodeling the building. Caston Construction will be the contractor. Company and Lucent Technologies. Jim Robertson, President of Western Industries said, "the move was necessary to handle our growth and to consolidate our Oklahoma City operations into one facility". They will relocate from two buildings they currently own, a 52,000 square foot building at 1716 NW 6th Street and a 36,000 square foot building at 2530 West Reno, which Wiggin Properties is marketing for sale or lease on behalf of Western Industries. In addition to the Oklahoma City operations, Western Industries has operations in Dallas, Austin and Mexico. They have been serving the technology and industrial manufacturing industries since 1973. Packaging products they manufacture include stock and custom corrugated boxes, die-cut foam packs, reusable wood containers, pallets, bags, microfoam, bubblewrap, hazardous materials packaging and moisture sensitive packaging. Robertson said, "with the services of Wiggin Properties, we have secured an excellent facility that will be more efficient and enable us to better serve the needs of our growing list of customers". David A. Huffman, CCIM with Wiggin Properties represented Western Industries and Don Faulkner, also with Wiggin Properties represented the owner, 29th Street, LLC in the transaction. |
