(Oklahoma City) Wiggin Properties has completed the turnkey redevelopment and sale of a 10 story 200,000 square foot downtown office building and laboratory to the State of Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. Selected through a competitive bidding process in 1995, the building is two blocks north of the site of the Murrah Federal Building bombing and was itself heavily damaged by that blast. Wiggin Properties was able to secure CDBG funding from the City of Oklahoma City to assist in the completion of the project. Total project cost for the new building, which includes approximately 40,000 square feet of laboratory space, is $7.5 million, or approximately $38 per square foot. The principal in charge of the redevelopment effort was Chuck Wiggin and the project manager was Debbie Whitacre. Don Faulkner was the broker. Architectural and engineering services were provided by Frankfurt Short Bruza, mechanical engineering by 050 Engineering, and construction was handled by Richey Zink and |
