Wiggin Properties Announces Sale of Fleming Headquarters to Waterford Properties II, LLC |

(Oklahoma City) Waterford Properties II, LLC has completed the acquisition of the former Fleming Headquarters building at 6301 Waterford Boulevard. Built in 1984, the four story, 147,000 square foot class A building served as Fleming's corporate headquarters until the company vacated in 2000. The new owner will subdivide the building for multi-tenant occupancy. Three leases have already been signed, which account for nearly 20% of the building. of Waterford Properties II are Michael Dillard, Roy Oliver, and J. Roddy Bates. The purchase price was $11,200,000. According to Chuck Wiggin, President of Wiggin Properties, which arranged the sale, title was conveyed by Boulevard Associates, a limited partnership sponsored by Lehman Brothers, of New York, which had owned the building since Fleming occupied it in 1984. Fleming had been a tenant under a long term lease with nearly nine years under the lease. As a result of the transaction, Fleming was able to terminate its remaining obligation under the lease. In addition to corporate personnel which were transferred to Dallas, Fleming had relocated other departmental units to Four Corporate Plaza, Lake Park Tower, and Two Grand Park in Oklahoma City.
