(Oklahoma City) With an anticipated completion date of November, 1999, officials at Oklahoma Surgicare recently broke ground on their new facility.
The new Oklahoma Surgicare building will be located at 4317 W. Memorial Road in Oklahoma City.
The new facility will be 16,000 square feet and feature five operating rooms, one treatment room and two overnight stay rooms. In addition, the new Oklahoma Surgicare building will include a drive through for convenient
patient pickup and delivery. The building will replace the current surgery center, which contains about 8,200 square feet and was constructed in 1982.
"We are very excited about breaking ground," said Lindie Slater, Administrator of Oklahoma Surgicare.
"The new building will give us about twice the space we have now and considerably easier access. It will be filled with the latest in medical technology and will allow more effective care for our patients." "This state-of-the-art building will be the cornerstone of the Quailbrook Office Center, near the intersection of Memorial Road and Meridian," said Tim Strange, Vice President of Wiggin Properties, which is developing the
building for Memorial One Limited Partnership. We have had strong interest from several medical groups in building on land adjacent to Oklahoma Surgicare."
Designed by FSB Architects, Engineers and Planners, the one-story building will feature an exterior of textured masonry and glass. Shiloh Enterprises, Inc. of Edmond is the general contractor.
