Tim Strange Achieves SIOR Designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors

(Oklahoma City)  Tim Strange, Executive Vice President and Partner of Wiggin Properties, L.L.C., has achieved the SIOR office designation (Specialist, Industrial and Office Real Estate) award by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, an international association of professional commercial real estate brokers.

To achieve the SIOR designation, Strange completed at least 5 years of creditable experience in highly specialized field of industrial and office real estate; and demonstrated to the Society professional ability, competency, ethical conduct and personal integrity.

Individuals who hold the SIOR designation, working throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and overseas, are top producers representing more than 800 commercial real estate offices in 450 cities. The society enforces a strict code of ethics and requires designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.

Last year, SIOR designees closed more than 68,000 buying, selling or leasing transactions involving 2.4 billion square feet of commercial real estate. These transactions totaled $51.7 billion, or an average of $24.7 million per member.

Strange also hold the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and has been president of the Oklahoma CCIM Chapter. His firm is a founding member of the CORE Network, a partnership of locally owned market-leading real estate service providers in seventy cities nationwide. Strange is active in community and civic affairs, including the boards of Leadership Oklahoma City, Rotary Club 29, and the Last Frontier Council, Boy Scouts of America.
